Down
Syndrome LIVERPOOL held a spooky event on Sunday the 29th of October in St Anthony
of Padua Social Club. The event was attended by a large number of witches, warlocks,
vampires, ghouls and assorted scary creatures (and that was only the management
committee)!
No it wasn't a coven meeting it was the D.S.L. Hallowe'en
Party. Approx.100 of our members/families/children attended the event. Most of
the children came in costume, so too did some of the adults and made it a very
colourful event indeed.
We had an entertainer who organised party games,
a disco and he performed a magic show for the children, so there was lots to do
and the children attending had a great time. The feedback we have received has
been very positive and we feel that social events like this are essential to bring
people together. Parents can meet and talk to each other, and our kids can have
an enjoyable time together with their friends and siblings. Have a look at the
photos and you
will see what a good time people had.
We are now looking forward to our
Christmas Party on the 2nd of December which should be even bigger than Hallowe'en.
The Flyer has gone out for this so get your returns in ASAP. |
